Jaeden starts school on 2 Jan 2009
J starts attending playgroup this new year. On the lst day of school, both Daddy and Mummy took leave to send him to school. Check out his yellow-cum red uniform....luckily he has a pair of red shoes to go with his uniform...but the shoes seem getting a tad too small for J and Mummy is busy trying to find a nice pair of shoes for school. The playgroup is within walking distance from the grandparents' place. Perfect!....Gong Gong won't have to travel far to send J to school. The playgroup is for 1 1/2hrs and Mummy reckons the timing though is short but its a good start for J to try and get used to the idea of attending school.
Here's a brief on J's few days in school.
Day 1 (2 Jan) : Mummy accompanied J into the class. Mummy sneaked out about 45 minutes later. Heard J knocking the door calling out "Mom". Saw teacher carrying J trying to distract him. Cried when the whole class was getting ready to dismiss from lesson....(many little ones were crying in fact)
Day 2: (5 Jan): Gong Gong accompanied J for class. Apparently Gong Gong stay throughout the lesson.
Day 3: (6 Jan) : Gong Gong sneaked out from class 45 mins later. J cried but teacher managed to pacify him. Cried when he saw Gong Gong outside the class when it was dismissal time.
Day 4: (7 Jan): Gong Gong sent J into classroom and left quietly. Teacher commented that J cried awhile but stopped.
Day 5: (8 Jan) : Same as yesterday, Gong Gong sent J into class but J refused to go in. Teacher came and brought him inside the class. Was told that J cried today due to hunger. He asked teacher for more biscuits.
Hope J gets adjusted to the routine of attending school and learns how to manage separation anxiety soon.......honestly, when you see the little one crying...your heart breaks....and yet you have to be hard-hearted , i reckoned that is the worst part!
